We are currently recruiting for a Heavy Haulage - STGO - category C+E Ballast Driver to support our busy transport division.

Requirements:

Previous experience of Heavy Haulage / STGO work is desirable but not essential. On the job training will still be provided for the successful candidates. You must hold HGV Class C+E (Class 1) Licence, Driver CPC Card and a Driver Card.
The successful candidate will possess a cheerful outlook, demonstrate flexibility and resilience in overcoming challenges, be willing to travel to various locations as required, and be able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, clients, and contractors

Main Duties are:

To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of Mobile Crane Ballast and Ancillary equipment as required. Performing scheduled deliveries and collections to and from customer sites as required. Carry out daily vehicle checks. Comply with all legal requirements relating to licensing, driver's hours, rest periods, reduced speed limits and the correct use of digital tachograph systems. Ensure vehicles & trailers are properly maintained, cleaned, and used in accordance with permitted weight limits. Represent SCA in a professional and courteous manner at all times to colleagues, customers, the general public and other road users. Check equipment is loaded & unloaded in a safe manner in accordance with current legislation and SCA SSOW.
