Class 1 HGV Driver - Rugby

Pay Rate:

15.50ph for days & 17.50ph for Nights. (Bank Holidays - 20ph)

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for a reputable third-party logistics company based in Rugby. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking consistent work with fair conditions and the potential to move into a permanent role.

What We Offer:

Start times between 05:00 - 09:00 OR 18:00 - 20:00 for nights Average shift lengths of 8-10 hours Local and nationwide deliveries Kerbside deliveries only No handball - all deliveries are tail-lift and palletised using electric pump trucks Occasional Class 2 driving required, paid at the Class 1 rate Temp to perm opportunities available for the right candidates Paid induction (after a full completed shift) Inductions are booked between 4:30pm - 7:00 pm during the week.

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience A valid manual and automatic HGV licence is mandatory No more than 3 points for minor offences Confident using a PDA for collections and deliveries Willing to drive Class 2 vehicles as required (whilst still being paid Class 1 rate) Able to attend a 1-hour induction session with the trainer

This is a third-party haulage role so that stock loads can vary widely.
