Overview

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations around RH & KT postcode areas as well as occasional distance work. The ideal candidate should possess previous pallet network delivery experience but this is not essential. All deliveries are palletised deliveries to various sites which may be offloaded with an FLT or tail lift dependent on the delivery point. This role requires a valid commercial driving licence and up to date CPC. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our products during transit.

Duties

Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Palletised deliveries within the RH & KT postcode areas. Sameday dedicated full load deliveries. Secure , ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete necessary paperwork for each trip. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving. Successful candidate will be required to join a rota for working every 6th Saturday AM, which is paid in addition to the monthly salary.

Skills

NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver for a pallet network would be desirable but not essential. Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a maximum of 6 points. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
