Greshornish House Hotel & Restaurant is a 4 Star 10 bedroom country house hotel based on the Isle of Skye along with the Edinbane Inn Based just a few miles from the main hotel.,

The position comes with accommodation, a single person or a team would be considered, with the other role being Front of House/Reception

Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our hotel bar & restaurant, along with a Country Inn .

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a solid understanding of food production and safety, as well as bartending and culinary expertise. The Bar & Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Responsibilities



Supervise and train Bar & Restaurant staff to ensure high standards of service and efficiency. Oversee the service and presentation of beverages and food items, maintaining quality control and a high standard of service. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards within the bar area. Develop creative drink menus and special promotions to enhance customer engagement. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a bar & restaurant supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food production processes, food safety regulations, and culinary practices. Excellent bartending skills with a comprehensive understanding of drink recipes and preparation techniques. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in training and supervising staff. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
The ideal candidate will have there own Transport as the role includes multi site operations.

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
