THE COMPANY:
Our client is an international banking group based in the City that specialises in project and acquisition finance.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Onboarding and Client monitoring:

  • Create, maintain and manage client files and archives
  • Cover client outreach
  • Prepare Customer Creation forms
  • Input in Head-Office's commercial and credit database i.e., manage creation, update or deletion of loan/customer profiles
  • Prepare / Input CBG-related static data.
  • Input changes on the Head-Office system
  • Input data into the CRM tool related to companies with dates of: Invitation into transaction, Customer creation form, AML-CFT, CDD, Credit approval, loan documentation checklist, Instruction, Loan Closing, declined Branch and declined HO.
  • Participate in the on-boarding process (e.g., preparation work, screening, research, etc.)
  • Perform CDD assessments and manage the internal approval process.
  • Prepare AML-CFT risk assessment forms and ensure timely update of AML-CFT risk ratings
  • Ensure that reviews are carried out in time, chase Front-Office for updates and delays' rationale
  • Perform KYC/CDD and credit support and administration
  • Complete administrative tasks related to the Brexit transfer of assets for pan-European deals booked in Head Office.
  • Prepare 'new facility checklists' and 'annual review check lists'
  • Prepare other regulatory documentation (e.g., MIFID II, EMIR, FATCA-CRS, GDPR, etc.)
  • Interrogate Safewatch alerts to conclusion
  • Undertake screening on beneficiaries for bond/guarantee facilities for Corporate Finance Team
Data Management:
  • Download and manage all client documentation post-execution and until refinancing or exit
  • Provide support in KYC data collection
  • Collect and file credit-related documentation
  • Check accuracy of loan registers/books against instructions, credit applications, etc.
CDD Framework, Risk Management and Portfolio Monitoring:
  • Ensure that Front-Office staff are promptly informed of, and apply new/revised operating procedures
  • Perform CDD related remediation exercise as and when required
Risk and compliance culture:
  • Adhere to the Group's compliance related policies and procedures such as anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism and proliferation (AML-CFT), conduct rules, conflict of interest, data protection, gifts and entertainment, market abuse, personal account dealing, safety and security, tax evasion, whistleblowing, etc.
  • Partake in strengthening the branch's risk and compliance culture (i.e., write and implement policies, design trainings, update Questions & Answers, etc.) in collaboration with the Senior Management and business units.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Previous experience KYC/CDD roles from a banking background
  • Displays professional behaviour, positive attitude and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and French desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise numerous duties and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel)
