Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Help with basic cooking tasks under the supervision of experienced chefs. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support the team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and freshness of ingredients.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous. Experience in restaurants or hotels will be beneficial for understanding the fast-paced nature of the role. A background in hospitality or culinary settings will enhance your ability to thrive in this position.
