Join our busy Newcastle Finance team as a Legal Cashier!


If you would like to play a vital role in a fast-paced, high-impact finance environment, then our Finance team could be for you. We're looking for a motivated Legal Cashier to join us and make a real difference. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you'll assist with the finance and accounting functions of the department, while ensuring compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules.

What will I be doing?

Daily maintenance of client and office ledgers, and related records. Cash allocations and online electronic payments (BACS, Faster Payments, Chaps and Cheques). Debiting online electronic payments to the finance system. Responsible for client balances and taking card payments from clients. Assisting with queries received both internally and externally.

You'll have

Good knowledge of Solicitors' Accounts Rules. Ability to work quickly and accurately, balancing and prioritising workload. Attention to detail. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
