The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent telephone manners and a strong customer service mindset, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of support.
This role is essential in facilitating the smooth operation of our services, assisting with various administrative tasks, including managing diaries, booking appointments, scanning, copying, filing, liaising with clients and generally contributing to the overall efficiency of our practice.
Duties
Provide administrative support to lawyer, including managing schedules, organising files and maintaining documentation.
Assist in preparing legal documents, correspondence and reports.
Communicate effectively with clients, responding to inquiries and providing updates on case progress.
Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates for legal professionals.
Manage billing processes and assist with invoicing clients as necessary.
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a legal environment and bonus if is within wills / probate (full training will be provided).
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
The ability to analyse information effectively and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in using standard office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with legal management software is advantageous.
