We are seeking a highly organised Legal Secretary to join our dynamic and friendly legal team.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our offices providing vital support to our legal staff, and enhancing client relations through effective communication.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to directors and legal team, including managing calendars and scheduling appointments for staff.
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and court reports.
Conduct audio typing for dictations
Maintain an organised filing system of the firms
Maintaining the firms central diary.
Assist in the preparation of court documents and filings, adhering to strict deadlines.
Opening and closing of client files
Communicate effectively with clients and other professionals.
Utilise IT systems proficiently, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other.
Manage time efficiently to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience in a legal secretarial or administrative role within a law firm or legal department.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and colleagues professionally.
To demonstrate forward thinking and initiative within the firm
