Duties

Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including patient education on procedures, recovery, and lifestyle modifications. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with advancements in general surgery techniques and best practices through ongoing professional development. Educate patients and their families about surgical options, risks, and expected outcomes to facilitate informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Medical degree with specialization in General Surgery from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery. Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in performing a wide range of general surgical procedures. Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
