Job Summary

The Lunch Cover Nursery School position is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children during their lunch and sleep period. This role involves supervising children, assisting with meal times, and ensuring that all activities are conducted in a positive and supportive manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Supervise children during lunch, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist children with meal preparation, serving, and clean-up. Encourage positive social interactions among children during lunch. Monitor children's behavior and address any conflicts or issues that arise. Engage children in age-appropriate activities before and after lunch. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's needs and behaviors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lunch area.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Patience and empathy when dealing with young children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Experience or background in early childhood education is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A genuine love for working with children and fostering their development.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.25-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
