Your Role: What will you be doing?



As a Lunch Cover Practitioner at Daisy Fays, you'll provide vital support to our team, ensuring continuity of care during our busy lunchtime hours. Your responsibilities will include:


Supporting children during mealtimes,

promoting independence and healthy eating.

Assisting the team with daily routines

to ensure smooth transitions across the day.

Engaging with children

through play, conversation, and activities to support their development.

Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment

both indoors and outdoors. Upholding Daisy Fays' values by

ensuring the welfare, safeguarding, and wellbeing of every child.

Working closely with colleagues to provide a consistent

, high-quality standard of care.



Requirements: What are we looking for?



We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual who's passionate about making a difference in children's lives. Ideally, you'll have:


A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

(essential).

Experience of working in an Early Years setting

(desirable but not essential). A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting the team. A warm, nurturing personality with excellent communication skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.



Please note, due to our sector, all roles are subject to an

Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification. All personnel will be required to subscribe to the DBS Update service once the DBS has been applied for.
