Engineering Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.





Candidate will be on a PM shift working Monday to Thursday (2pm-10:15pm) and Friday (12pm-6pm). This will be standard shift pattern however successful candidate will be open to shift rotation when required by the business.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact





The work model for the role is #onsite at our Coleshill location.

Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines. Manages and updates technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. Maintains tools and repairs equipment in good working condition. Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency. Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.

Qualifications for the Role

Time served/Qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience in mechanical fitting, assembly or maintenance in a manufacturing environment Experience with tool setting, CNC machining, or machine tool setup. Familiarity with common workshop machines (lathes, mills, drills, grinders) and cutting tools is highly desirable Knowledge of maintenance activities with the use of CMMS systems. Also experience in data analysis through such systems to focus activities for greater results. Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings to support manufacturing and machine improvements. Successful candidate will display good communication skills at all levels within the business. Manufacturing background with experience within conduit production machinery.
