Key Responsibilities1. Product Development & Market Readiness
Research and identify trends in hair products, wig styles, packaging, and customer preferences.
Work closely with the China and UK teams to support product development, sampling, and specification finalisation.
Test and review product samples; provide feedback on texture, colour, quality, and suitability for different hair types.
Prepare product briefs, marketing copy, and visual direction for upcoming launches.
Analyse competitors' products, pricing, and positioning to support product differentiation.
2. Brand Communication & Marketing Execution
Support marketing campaigns for new product launches -- including TikTok, Amazon, and offline promotions.
Coordinate social media and influencer marketing activities, ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging.
Prepare and manage digital content assets (photos, videos, copy) for product and brand promotion.
Work with the marketing team to track campaign performance (CTR, GMV, ROI) and compile summary reports.
Assist in developing creative ideas and messages that connect with the Afro-textured and global beauty markets.
Contribute to brand storytelling through content creation, packaging language, and visual direction.
3. Copyright & Compliance Management
Review and document content usage rights, model releases, and influencer contracts.
Ensure that all marketing and product materials comply with brand and copyright standards.
Maintain an organised library of approved visuals, creator assets, and permission documents.
4. Sales & Commercial Support
Assist in preparing promotional materials, sample kits, and product displays for trade shows and client visits.
Support collaboration between sales and marketing teams -- ensuring product launches are well aligned with campaign schedules.
Track sales performance of new products and compile post-launch reports with actionable recommendations.
Gather customer and market feedback to support continuous product improvement.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Marketing, Business, Fashion, or a related field
.
1-3 years of experience
in product development, marketing execution, or brand management (preferably in
beauty, fashion, or consumer goods
).
Strong understanding of
hair product trends
, beauty branding, and
online sales channels
(TikTok, Amazon, Shopify).
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and creative mindset.
Solid understanding of copyright and content usage rights
-- able to identify potential risks and ensure all marketing assets (images, videos, models, influencer materials) comply with legal and brand requirements.
Experience in reviewing or managing
image licensing, creator contracts, or brand usage rights
is highly desirable.
Proficient in
Microsoft Office, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
for marketing content preparation and coordination.
English fluency required; proficiency in another language (e.g. French, Spanish, or African market language) is a plus.
