Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician - Cement Mixers

Location: Farnworth, Bolton

Hours: 42 hrs/week, with overtime available

The Role:

You will be assembling cement mixers from start to finish - each unit typically takes one day to build. This is hands-on mechanical work where precision, care and a methodical approach are essential. You'll be part of a close-knit team that values consistency and pride in the finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, test and finish cement mixer units to a high standard Follow assembly drawings, build instructions and processes Work methodically and maintain accuracy throughout each build Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical issues during assembly Ensure quality and safety checks are carried out Maintain a clean and organized work area Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in mechanical assembly or similar hands-on role Ability to follow technical drawings/instructions Methodical and detail-oriented approach Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in a mechanical discipline Strong work ethic and reliability Loyal and looking for long-term, steady employment
