We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care and assistance. Duties

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Supporting clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed. Preparing and serving meals according to dietary requirements. Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients' health conditions. Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client condition to senior staff. Ensuring that the living environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for clients.

Experience

While previous experience in a care role is advantageous, it is not essential as we provide comprehensive training for all new staff members. Key skills and attributes include:

A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a care setting is beneficial. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 44 per week
