Your Role as a Night Shift Support Worker
As a
Waking Nights Support Worker
, you will:
Monitor and support children overnight, providing reassurance and emotional care.
Respond calmly to incidents using
trauma-informed approaches
.
Implement individualised care plans and maintain high standards of care.
Assist with early morning routines to prepare children for the day ahead.
Maintain accurate records of welfare, incidents, and care provided using IT systems.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure consistency and safety throughout the night.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in
residential childcare
is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow and implement
individualised care plans
effectively.
Calm, compassionate, and patient approach to night-time care.
Basic IT skills for documentation and communication.
Valid UK driving licence preferred.
