The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting. Your ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery.
Duties
Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
Supervise and interact with children to ensure their safety and well-being.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and nap times.
Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour among children.
Skills
Strong background in early childhood education is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for children.
A nurturing attitude towards childcare with an emphasis on creating a supportive environment.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
