Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care

Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team in Nottingham on a locum basis. This is a community-focused role where you will deliver assessments and interventions that promote independence, reduce reliance on care packages, and ensure safe and effective moving and handling practices.
What will your responsibilities be?

• Assess and prescribe moving and handling equipment to meet individual needs
• Deliver single-handed care solutions to promote independence and reduce care reliance
• Review and reduce packages of care through effective assessment and intervention
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across health and social care services
• Maintain accurate records in line with professional and statutory requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,

• Degree/MSc in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC Registration
• Experience in Adult Social Care
• Proven ability in assessing and prescribing moving and handling equipment
• Experience in single-handed care approaches
• Skilled in reviewing and reducing care packages
• Experience with Liquid Logic preferred
