Looking for a better work-life balance? This is your opportunity.
We're currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis (18.5 hours per week) -- giving you the flexibility to do the work you love while still having time for the things that matter most outside of work.
Whether you're returning to the profession, looking to reduce your hours, or simply want a more balanced lifestyle, this role offers the chance to make a real difference in people's lives while maintaining your own wellbeing. Purpose of the role:
You will be working in the long term occupational therapy team to undertake strengths-based assessments and deliver appropriate person-centred support and outcomes for people in Cumbria who have care and support needs.
To work in ways that promote independence and enable individuals/groups to maximise their strengths. To work with stakeholders for better outcomes for the people of Cumbria. Including interventions such as major/minor recommendations, manual handling, postural management and equipment provision.
The post holder will actively promote the work of the Cumbria County Council, internally and externally, on the development and delivery of continuously improving modern and competitive services for the people of Cumbria.
