Occupational Therapist - Private Hospital - 38,000 - Full Time

Job Overview

We are looking to recruit an occupational therapist to join the team in this private hospital located in Dewsbury in there 32 bedded locked service.

Based in a residential area located in West Yorkshire, This Hospital provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disorders and we also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health.

Responsibilities

Manages and co-ordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication. Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis. Maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient's rehabilitation / progress. Ensures the effective and efficient management of more junior staff. Maintains and develops close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice is in line with Priory policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards. available upon request

Requirements

The role holder must hold a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, along with full BAOT membership and HPC registration. You should have at least three years of experience, including a minimum of one year working within a specialized area such as addictions, neuro-rehabilitation, or eating disorders.
