Job Overview




To support the Operations Manager in the delivery and compliance for the region in the below regional targets and objectives To be support the Operational teams in their delivery of all maintenance, reactive and small works within the scope of the contracts ensuring that all contractual obligations are met in conjunction with the contract Commercial and Technical Managers. To ensure that all planned preventative maintenance and reactive works are carried out efficiently and to the Client's satisfaction. To ensure that all personnel under your control work efficiently and maintain required standards in line with contractual obligations. To be responsible for staff motivation and discipline

To ensure compliance with Health, Quality, Safety and Environmental standards and all training is delivered within the required timeframe to include TBTs & LiveSafe flashes




Main Duties





Responsible for ensuring that our people are trained, developed, performance managed and supported in order to meet and possibly exceed the expectations of their role, achieve their own aspirations, understand their career path making Mitie a great place to work.

To support the operational audit schedule closing out actions related to the operational function as they are raised by the auditor, to work with all key stakeholders in the process.

To act as the point of contact to our clients where necessary, attend review meetings as requested by the Operations Manager, supporting our clients needs.

Oversee staff overtime, process orders for items such as company uniform, PPE and tools as required.

Responsible for consistently thinking and acting innovatively to generate ideas and different ways of working in order to improve both customer service and business service.

Build a professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders by drawing on own experience and utilising all available resources in order to both maintain and potentially improve those relationships and strengthen Mitie's relationship with the supply chain.

To understand and support delivery of the SLA driven tasks mitigating any contractual penalties where applicable.

Provide opportunities for great collaboration with key stakeholders, both internal and external in order to resolve problems or issues quickly to ensure the consistent smooth-running of the engineering teams.

To act as the point of contact for the engineering team filtering requests to the correct person or department working within a fast paced environment.

Arrange the monthly tool box talks ensuring all business updates are included in the meeting, share any concerns raised by the engineers with the relevant manager as required.

Understand the health and safety polices and promote safe working at all times.

Support solving workplace conflicts as they arise.

Communicate business updates to the team, gather and feedback status reports and team updates back to the higher management.

Arrange and conduct the annual appraisals with the team following the guidance stated within the Mi-Review process.
