We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our growing team.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Painter & Decorator to undertake a variety of painting, decorating, and surface preparation duties across different properties and sites. As part of our team, you will ensure high-quality standards are maintained while meeting deadlines, working efficiently, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating, including scraping, sanding, and priming. Apply paint, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes to a variety of surfaces (walls, ceilings, windows, doors, etc.). Work with different materials, including emulsion paints, gloss, varnishes, and wallpaper. Handle and maintain all tools and equipment properly. Follow detailed instructions for colour schemes and design patterns. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and is finished in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure job specifications are met. Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including the proper use of protective equipment. Occasionally assist in the preparation and delivery of site materials. Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator. Knowledge of painting techniques and decorating materials. Ability to use painting and decorating tools safely and effectively. Good knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites. High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent results. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Valid & clean driving license. A professional qualification in Painting & Decorating.
