We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. The Painter will work closely with other tradespeople and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Select and mix paints to achieve desired colours and finishes. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to safety regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project requirements and progress. Drive to various job sites as required for different projects.

Skills

Proficient in construction painting techniques and methods. Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence. Excellent command of English for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and understand client needs. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
