We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating culinary skills while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for running the kitchen on your own, will need to prep food and deal with incredibly busy shifts at the cafe .
Responsibilities
Being able to run the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service, whilst also ensuring prep is complete.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels, help with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Skills
Proven experience in a kitchen role within a restaurant or similar establishment.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary arts.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and front-of-house teams.
