About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Parts Planner / Stores Person to join our dynamic team in the forklift truck industry. This is a key role ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department, supporting both workshop and field service teams with timely and accurate parts supply.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan parts requirements based on service driven quotations, service schedules, and system historical information Manage and maintain stock levels of forklift truck parts and consumables Assist receiving, inspect, and stock incoming parts deliveries when required Process parts orders and returns efficiently Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems Support engineers with parts identification and availability

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within the forklift, automotive, or plant machinery industry preferred but not essential Strong organisational and planning skills Good IT skills, including experience with stock control systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Forklift license not essential
