Summary

As a Pharmacy Dispenser at Rightdose Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and effectively. The job is a hybrid role, meaning you will have a mixture of Pharmacy Dispenser responsibilities and Prescription Collection driving responsibilities. It would be a mix of both and therefore you must have a drivers license.

Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering advice on medication usage. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information. Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock supplies. Educate patients on proper medication administration and potential side effects. Maintaining the pharmacy vehicle and collection of prescriptions from surgeries.

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of medication administration protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care. A clean drivers license and the ability to drive a manual car.

Particulars

Hours: 9am-6pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch Monday to Friday. 4 Weeks AL and 9 BH paid. Company delivery vehicle to maintain and use to get to and from work. Training to Dispenser, Checking Dispenser available. Loyalty bonus after 12 months post probation. Hourly rate dependent on qualification and experience.
