Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and be proficient in the use of various tools and materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish. Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and ensuring they are structurally sound. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for mixing, applying, and finishing plaster. Work with masonry materials, including bricks and blocks, to ensure proper adhesion and finish. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure cohesive results. Perform repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching holes and cracks. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary. A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
