Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in podiatric medicine and surgery, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and treating various foot and ankle conditions. This role involves working closely with patients to provide comprehensive care, utilizing advanced technologies and techniques to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations to diagnose foot and ankle disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options. Perform podiatric surgeries as necessary, ensuring adherence to best practices and aseptic techniques. Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care, including referrals to specialists when needed. Educate patients on foot health, preventive care, and rehabilitation strategies. Stay updated on advancements in podiatry and related fields through continuous education and clinical research participation. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications



Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice podiatry. Proficiency in EHR systems; experience with Epic is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to podiatry. Experience in patient care settings, including outpatient clinics or hospitals. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to podiatry diagnostics. Skills in critical care management, wound care, pain management, and acute pain management are desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
