We're looking for a passionate and experienced pharmacy professional to take on the role of Training Programme Director for Post-registration Pharmacist Practice in the North East and Yorkshire (NEY). This is a key position within NHS England's NEY School of Pharmacy, where you'll help drive the development of high-quality post-registration education and training for pharmacists across the region.
You're a registered pharmacist with a foundation in education, training, or workforce development. You bring energy, insight, and a collaborative spirit - ready to lead, inspire, and make a lasting difference in the profession.
Building strong partnerships with education providers, employers, supervisors and learners to ensure effective, innovative, and continuously improving educational delivery.
Providing oversight and quality assurance of training pathways that support pharmacists in delivering excellent patient care.
Leading workforce development initiatives aligned with national priorities and tailored to local needs.
Engaging with colleagues across other regions to share innovations, influence national consistency, and contribute to a unified vision for post-registration pharmacist development.
Supporting and developing educational supervisors and leading regional pharmacy training networks to ensure high-quality supervision and cross-sector learning opportunities.
