Role Introduction
You will join and work with the Product team to help shape the future of UK Further Education technology, from SaaS applications through to integrated AI. You'll be able to showcase your skills and knowledge of Further Education through the delivery of key products and functionality that serve over 85% of FE providers. You'll have an eye for detail and a studious approach to your work, whilst also acting as the point of authority for product design decisions. You'll ensure the product meets the needs of the customer base and work closely with customers to ensure market changes are addressed in a timely manner. In addition, you'll maintain the Product Backlog, lead the engineering team to deliver innovative solutions and work closely with Product Management.

What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities:
Define and prioritise the product backlog for Education Analytics, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and development, to drive product strategy and delivery
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and pain points, and to gather feedback on the product
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the education sector, including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements
Ensure that the product roadmap is aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals
Responding to emerging roadmap and market requirements and identifying logical solutions to meet those requirements
Responsible for the quality of the solution (in terms of its business applicability) and the successful release to market
Act as the "product expert" both internally + externally
What You Will Have
Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, within the education sector or as an MIS/Systems/Reporting professional
Familiarity with DfE, QAR and National Rates
Strong understanding of the education sector, including the needs and challenges of educational institutions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing demands and stakeholders
Knowledge of data analytics and reporting in the education sector
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Agile methodologies and product development processes
Experience with cloud-based products and services
Familiarity with Education Analytics or similar products
Familiarity with AI technologies
