Summary
We are seeking a capable and confident Property Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover for 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in residential lettings to step into a busy, rewarding role managing a portfolio of rented properties.
Responsibilities
Overseeing a portfolio of residential rental properties
Coordinating repairs, maintenance, and safety checks with contractors
Carrying out property viewings with potential tenants
Conducting routine property inspections and reporting findings
Ensuring full legal compliance (e.g. deposit protection, gas safety, licensing)
Managing tenancy renewals, rent increases, and notices
Rent arrears management
Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
Keeping accurate records using property management software
Requirements
Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
Proficiency in Apex27 or similar property management software
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator with a customer-first attitude
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
ARLA/Propertymark qualification (desirable, not essential)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
Ability to handle data entry tasks accurately
Customer service-oriented mindset
