About the role
As Quality Manager & RP, Health Hub you will ensure compliance of all medicinal products and processes within the supply/distribution chain in the Global Distribution Hub and supporting the primary Responsible Person and Responsible Persons for Import for all activities and responsibilities relating to GDP for the Health Hub. You'll contribute to the growth of our trusted product portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Location: This role can be based at our sites in Hull or Slough, UK

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the GDP Compliance of the Health Hub Quality Management System to ensure compliance to the regulatory requirements, Marketing Authorisation and Wholesaler Distribution Authorisation.
  • Supporting the management team to enable them to develop and implement the local Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure fully compliant products and systems.
  • Work with local functions to develop and maintain all relevant procedures in line with the requirements of the Global QMS & associated policies, relevant codes of practice and GDP.
  • Ensure that the QMS is maintained in a state of inspection readiness.
  • Change Management - Ensure a robust and effective change control system is in place to ensure business changes are effectively managed.
  • Issue Management - Investigate quality issues (Non-conformances) and failures (CEP Events) and apply Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence. Ensure that improvements to products and procedures can be identified and fixed.
  • Audit/Inspection Management - Execution of planned inspections to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the local QMS. Audit should cover all aspects of the global and local QMS to ensure compliance.
  • Execution and routine reviews of audits for Third Party providers.
  • Document Management - Maintain a document control system for the local QMS. Perform reviews and approve business procedures & Technical Agreements.
  • Maintain a Fit-For-Purpose QMS: Report level of compliance of local QMS versus global QMS, Policies and GDP regularly to Senior Management and drive closure of gaps to maintain compliance.
  • Transporters - Partner with procurement to ensure that hauliers selected are compliant with GDP and all relevant TAs and audits are in place prior to commencement of activities.
  • Work with global and local teams to ensure implementation of appropriate controls to ensure consistent quality of products
  • Lead and drive improvements across Reckitt's global distribution operations
  • Host/support external inspections by External Authorities, third parties and RB Corporate group.
  • Support with any required follow-ups and responses after external inspections, where relevant.
  • Work in accordance with the MHRA's Good Distribution Practice 2013/C 343/01 requirements for the Responsible
The experience we're looking for
  • Experience working in a quality compliance function in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device related industry and experience of working as a named Responsible Person on a wholesale licence
  • Have qualification in formal auditing and experience of conducting third-party audits and self-inspections
  • Experience in developing & maintaining a robust QMS in a Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device related industry.
  • Clear understanding and ability to assess and act upon product safety, quality, efficacy and compliance risks.
  • Good understanding of regulatory, GMP and GDP requirements relevant to a regulated product e.g. EU GMP, EU GDP, WHO, PIC/S, CFR 21 Part 210/211.
  • Clear understanding to ensure operations do not compromise the quality of products and can demonstrate compliance with GDP.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Language skills appropriate to the assigned country and/or regional cluster
