To greet all visitors/patients who enter the department and approach theReception Desk. Providing an efficient service, including the reception of,staff, patients, and visitors to the department. To ensure as far as possible, that the Receptionist is always available inthe reception area. To be responsible for the general quality and appearance of the receptionarea.
To receive all incoming post and process in a timely manner, and ensure all outgoing post is similarly processed. Communication with stakeholders including trainees, clinicians, managers, patients, other colleagues, and workers from other agencies. Recording, archiving, and recalling files as necessary. To be involved in trainee satisfaction surveys, risk assessments and staffquestionnaires, as required by the departmental management team.
To be available, once fully trained, to assist within the bookings team andbook patients where required.
