Job Description
Sorting Materials: Recycling Operatives are tasked with sorting various recyclable materials such as recycled electrical items, glass, plastics, and metals to ensure they are processed correctly. Operating Machinery: Operate and maintain recycling machinery and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Cleaning and Preparing: The role involves cleaning and preparing materials for recycling, which may include removing contaminants and ensuring materials are in suitable condition for processing. Use of Hand tools. Adhering to Safety Regulations: Following health and safety regulations is critical to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues. Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) with a counterbalance license as part of daily duties, ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods and materials
