Job Description

Provide nursing care that is at all times patient-centred, holistic and quality driven, ensuring optimum quality of life for all patients in the inpatient unit. Provide appropriate support and advice for families and carers working effectively alongside the multidisciplinary team across all clinical settings. Within your area assist in the coordination of the nursing team regarding all aspects of clinical and operational activity. Assist in managing, operating and supporting a 24/7 response by providing appropriate clinical and non-clinical advice and support within the boundaries of the service, for patients with cancer and non-cancer palliative care needs.

Educate colleagues and influence practice by talking to other health care professionals and participating in education programmes and research.
