About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the sales and operations of our newly opened Nespresso boutique in Covent Garden - our flagship location in London.
In this high-profile role, you'll report directly to the Business Boutique Manager (BBM), who leads the overarching strategic vision of the boutique. You will be responsible for translating this vision into day-to-day excellence on the boutique floor. This position blends commercial leadership, operational management and inspiring the team on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of the overall commercial success of the boutique.
  • Championing a culture of outstanding service and quality customer experience, ensuring every customer interaction is elevated.
  • Execute commercial strategies in line with BBM direction to drive boutique performance and meet KPIs.
  • Ensure the boutique meets the standards of a flagship location, preparing for regular senior leadership visits and showcasing best-in-class performance across all touchpoints.
  • Lead and inspire your team to be the best they can be! Leading by example on the shop floor.
  • Partner with the BBM to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across brand, marketing, operations, and local community initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in retail leadership, used to managing at pace, with a focus on service.
  • Confidence working in a highly visible, flagship environment, with experience of senior stakeholder engagement.
  • You'll have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service utilising your communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, and previous experience making key decisions and action planning to drive results.
  • A proactive and strategic mindset, capable of balancing brand standards with a dynamic customer-facing role.
  • Previous line manager experience and knowledge of HR best practice.
