Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans based on patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' progress and respond promptly to changes in their condition. Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Uphold infection control protocols and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing practice. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.
