Sales and Marketing Manager
to join our five-star, luxurious boutique hotel. Have fun working alongside a fantastic team.
About the Role:
In this key role, you will drive high-end business growth, cultivate strategic relationships with affluent clients, and ensure The Capital Hotel remains the destination of choice for luxury travellers.
In addition to driving sales your role will include implementing marketing and communication strategies. You will assist in managing campaigns, create impactful collateral, and ensure brand excellence across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing bespoke sales plans to grow luxury market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and travel advisors.
Identify and engage new business opportunities within ultra-luxury and VIP segments.
Client & Booking Management Proactively manage bookings from diverse client groups including associations and VIPs; handle all event and small group inquiries; ensure timely responses and follow-ups to maximize conversion and client satisfaction.
Event Planning & Execution Coordinate all event details including site inspections, Banquet Event Orders, rooming lists, pre-event meetings, and handovers to operations; ensure flawless execution through consistent communication and attention to detail.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless guest experiences aligned with the hotel.
Represent The Capital Hotel at key luxury events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Creative Content Creation: Craft visually captivating promotional materials for the hotel, restaurant, and bar using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other tools.
Asset Organization: Maintain and organize a centralized library of all marketing assets, including photography, videography, graphics, logos, and brand guidelines.
Assist with creating compelling copywriting: update website content and create engaging email campaigns that resonate with our audience.
Email Marketing & CRM - Help developing and managing segmented email marketing campaigns to target different audiences effectively (e.g., leisure travellers, corporate clients, local diners). Help maintaining and growing a database of guests and contacts, ensuring GDPR compliance.
Media and PR Support: assist with press visits and ensure our story shines through in every interaction.
Local Collaborations: foster partnerships with local businesses and organizations to drive footfall to our F&B outlets, creating meaningful Knightsbridge-inspired experiences.
Photography: support hotel photoshoots and manage internal communication to bring our spaces and stories to life visually.
Team Collaboration: work closely with revenue management, and operations to ensure marketing initiatives align with our overall business objectives.
About You:
A creative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for luxury and a strong sense of commercial awareness.
Proven track record within the luxury hospitality, travel, or high-end retail sector.
Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
Passion for delivering excellence and understanding the needs of discerning clientele.
Dynamic, proactive, and results-driven with outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to craft engaging, on-brand content.
