Semi-Skilled Toolmaker

or someone with

engineering experience

who is eager to grow within the trade. This is a great opportunity for someone who may be looking to expand their current skills or progress within the engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the assembly, manufacture, repair, and maintenance of precision tooling and components Operate manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders (training can be provided) Work from technical drawings and specifications Support senior toolmakers and engineers with day-to-day workshop tasks Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

Previous experience in an engineering, fitting, or machining environment Basic knowledge of workshop machinery and measuring instruments Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred) Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Desirable (but not essential):

Apprenticeship or qualification in mechanical or toolmaking disciplines Experience in CNC machining or toolroom environments
