Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Case Worker join our team at the Sanctuary, an established therapeutic alternative to A&E for people experiencing a crisis in their mental health. We offer a safe and supportive environment that is responsive to people's needs and alleviates distress. The Sanctuary provides a space for individuals to work alongside staff members to determine what support they need, with opportunities to connect, take time out, and be heard.



We are looking for a Senior Case Worker to assist the Service Manager and take the lead in frontline management of staff at the Sanctuary. This will involve supervising and motivating staff to deliver at their best, managing and participating in the day-to-day operation of the project, and working closely with the Service Manager to ensure the service continues to operate within organisational values.



The Sanctuary provides an out-of-hours service, 365 days of the year, from 5pm-1am. Senior Case Workers will work predominantly night shifts, with some flexibility to cover daytime into evening hours (e.g., 12pm-8pm) on certain shifts to ensure presence with the team and smooth transition into evening service delivery.



We work with people experiencing challenges with their mental health, and with communities who want to create a greater sense of wellbeing in the places that they live. Through our projects, we work with thousands of people each year.
