Could you be the person who leads transformative regeneration projects and helps shape the future of North East Lincolnshire?

If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys leading complex regeneration projects, and is passionate about making a tangible difference in local communities, this could be the perfect role for you. If you're confident managing teams, building strong stakeholder relationships, and navigating the challenges of capital development projects, we'd love to hear from you.

What's the role all about?

This is a senior leadership role within the Project Management Office, responsible for managing a portfolio of major regeneration projects--from concept through to delivery and evaluation. These projects span town centre regeneration, industrial development, highways, housing, and education. You'll also line manage project managers and officers, support the Head of Project Management (Regeneration), and help shape the strategic direction of the team. It's a role that combines operational delivery with strategic oversight, offering the chance to influence high-impact developments across the borough.

What will your day look like?

You'll be leading multi-disciplinary project teams, coordinating with internal colleagues, external partners, consultants, and funders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You'll manage stakeholder relationships, oversee procurement, monitor finances, and prepare reports for senior boards. You might be writing funding bids one day, negotiating land agreements the next, or supporting planning applications. It's a fast-paced, varied role that requires strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an experienced project manager with a strong track record in delivering capital regeneration projects. You'll need excellent programme management skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to lead and inspire teams. Experience working in or with local government or similar public sector environments is essential, as is knowledge of project management methodologies like Prince2. You'll be confident managing budgets, procurement processes, and stakeholder engagement, and bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to everything you do.

Why join us?

Joining our team means becoming part of a forward-thinking, impact-driven organisation that's committed to transforming North East Lincolnshire through ambitious regeneration projects. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued, your ideas are heard, and your leadership will help shape the future of our communities. With a diverse portfolio of projects and the opportunity to influence strategic direction, this role offers both challenge and reward.
