We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Senior SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our organic, paid, and marketplace strategies across Google, Amazon, eBay, B&Q, and our website. This is a key office-based role in Leicester, reporting directly to the Managing Director and collaborating with the in-house design, web, and marketplaces teams.
The Role
You'll be responsible for driving the company's online visibility, growth, and conversions across all search and marketplace channels.
A central focus will be on marketplace PPC management, KPI reporting, and close collaboration with the marketplaces team to ensure every campaign supports commercial goals. You'll also manage Google Merchant Centre, ensuring product feeds, listings, and Shopping campaigns are fully optimised.
You'll bring deep technical SEO knowledge and a solid understanding of emerging AI tools and marketing technologies, helping Blauberg stay competitive and data-driven.
Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Develop and execute a full SEO strategy to improve rankings, visibility, and conversions.
Perform advanced technical SEO audits and recommend improvements for site performance, indexation, and crawl efficiency.
Manage structured data (schema), canonicalisation, and XML sitemaps.
Monitor Core Web Vitals, site speed, and mobile usability through Google Search Console.
Identify and fix technical issues such as redirect chains, duplicate content, and broken links.
Ensure proper implementation of hreflang, robots.txt, and site architecture best practices.
Collaborate with developers to implement technical recommendations effectively.
Manage backlink and digital PR campaigns for authority growth.
Provide monthly reports with insights on traffic, rankings, and technical health.
Search Engine Marketing (SEM / PPC)
Plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and Google Merchant Centre.
Create and manage Shopping and Search campaigns to improve ROI and conversion performance.
Write engaging ad copy and continuously test landing pages.
Monitor budgets, bids, and conversions for efficiency and measurable growth.
Integrate SEO and PPC data for a unified performance strategy.
Marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, B&Q)
Manage and optimise marketplace PPC campaigns across all platforms.
Report on KPIs such as impressions, CTR, conversions, ACOS, and ROI.
Feed performance insights into the marketplaces team to refine listings, pricing, and promotions.
Maintain consistent product data and brand alignment across all channels.
Conduct regular marketplace audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Analytics & Reporting
Use GA4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and Google Merchant Centre to track performance.
Maintain accurate conversion tracking and event tagging via Google Tag Manager.
Use data to identify trends, measure ROI, and drive continuous optimisation.
Present clear, data-led insights and recommendations to management.
KPIs You'll Own
Organic traffic and non-brand keyword rankings.
Conversion rate (organic and paid).
Cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Shopping feed health, product approval, and click-through rates.
Marketplace metrics: ACOS, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue by channel.
What You'll Bring
Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing.
Proven success with Google Merchant Centre and marketplace advertising (Amazon, eBay, B&Q).
Advanced technical SEO expertise: crawl analysis, Core Web Vitals, schema, canonical tags, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, hreflang, and site migrations.
Strong understanding of AI tools and automation relevant to SEO, PPC, and analytics.
Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Tag Manager.
Strong analytical and commercial mindset with excellent communication skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience with Magento, Shopify, or similar eCommerce platforms.
Google Ads and Analytics certifications.
Experience managing large product feeds and Shopping campaigns.
