Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engaging and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. As a Tutor, you will provide personalised instruction in various subjects, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student growth and confidence.

Duties

Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Have experience & understanding of working with neurdiverse children in education or outside of education settings. Ability to engage children & deliver bespoke sessions to meet childs needs. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop. Provide clear explanations of concepts and encourage critical thinking. Monitor student progress and be able to record progress. Foster a positive learning atmosphere that motivates students to excel. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in the relevant subject area. Strong understanding of working with neurodiverse children. Previous experience in behavioiur management or community setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Patience, empathy, and the ability to inspire confidence in students. Ability to work flexibly according to students' schedules, including evenings or weekends if necessary. A degree in education or a related field is desirable but not essential; relevant qualifications are an advantage. Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms is beneficial.
