Job Overview

Working on a shift rotation covering 7 night per week , with a minimum of 5 hours per night, we are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties

Monitor entrances and exits to ensure the safety of individuals within the premises. Conduct regular surveillance of the area using CCTV systems to detect suspicious behaviour or potential threats. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times. Respond promptly to incidents, including conflicts or emergencies. Collaborate with the local police and emergency services as required during incidents. Maintain accurate records of incidents and evening activities, ensuring all reports are completed thoroughly.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Door Supervisor is preferred. Valid SIA Dor Supervisors License. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention methods. Proficiency in operating CCTV equipment and monitoring systems. First Aid certification is highly desirable; training may be provided for suitable candidates. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. A strong sense of responsibility and integrity, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the role.
