Social Media Marketer- Cricket Specialist

Sidearm Group operates in the cricket industry selling The Sidearm training aid and running three indoor cricket centres. We are looking for a Social Media Marketer to join our team.

35hrs per week flexible working. Part time options can be considered.

Location: Work from home plus visiting our three indoor cricket centres (Suffolk, Essex and Surrey) to create content.

Role Objectives

Drive engagement, generate bookings across three indoor cricket centres, and increase sales of our product The Sidearm. Grow our online community by sharing friendly, relatable cricket content and coaching tips. Manage social media remotely, with site visits for content creation.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Develop and execute a social media strategy using diverse content: reels, posts, stories, ads, and more. Take charge of existing Facebook and Instagram accounts and set up our new TikTok presence. Full responsibility for video/photo editing, content creation, posting, and engaging with followers. Respond to comments/messages and handle basic online customer service. Track and report on performance, suggesting innovative ways to improve strategy. Run paid ad campaigns.

Skills and Experience

The

candidate must have a deep understanding of cricket

and its culture.

They must be capable of directing and creating live cricket playing content. Technical knowledge of content creation tools (Photoshop, Canva, Meta Ad Manager, video editing) is a necessity. Must have driving license and access to their own car.

Brand and Tone

Friendly, inclusive, authentic cricket community--actual players, sharing coaching tips and fostering local engagement. Content should consistently reflect our community spirit and expertise.

Collaboration

Regular team meetings for ideas and review; you'll work alongside the owners on strategy and content. Supporting the directors in an operational role as required.

Compensation and Benefits

Fully employed role (freelance can be considered), 22.5k - 27.5k FTE depending on experience. Flexible hours and remote working. Milage allowance. 30 days paid holiday + bank holidays.
