Job Description

Boston Core CAMHS are looking for an experienced Specialist Child Psychologist to be part of our multi-disciplinary team. We provide assessment and a range of therapeutic interventions, working alongside children, young people and their families. Whilst we provide excellent care to our young people and families, we also have a nurturing and supportive team, something we are very proud of.



Our psychology team provides consultation, training, and clinical supervision to professionals based in health and social care. Psychologists in the Boston CORE team also provide specialist assessment and intervention to children / young people and their families, experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties, using evidence-based interventions. As a psychologist in the Boston CAMHS team, you will be an integral part of a team which includes psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, mental health nurses and an art therapist.

You will assist with the provision of CAMHS from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. You may also be required to work one evening a week up to 8pm dependant on service need.



You will be expected to be able to engage with and work effectively with vulnerable young people and their carers, (including Looked After Children, children and young people with mild to severe Learning Disabilities; young people who are / have been in contact with the Youth Justice Service), .
