We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coaches to join our holiday club team. This role is
exclusively for school holiday periods
, making it perfect for students, teaching assistants, sports coaches, or anyone seeking flexible, part-time work that fits around other commitments. We need individuals who are happy to work on selected dates throughout the year and can be flexible with availability across school holidays.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organise, and deliver exciting sports and activity sessions for children attending our holiday clubs
Create safe, inclusive, and enjoyable sessions that support children's physical development, teamwork, and confidence
Lead a variety of games, sports, and active challenges suitable for mixed age groups
Maintain a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where all children feel welcome and engaged
Ensure children's safety and wellbeing at all times, following safeguarding and behaviour expectations
Adapt sessions and activities to suit different ages, needs, and group sizes
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children to ensure smooth daily operations
Assist with set-up, pack-down, and general organisation of the club each day
What We're Looking For:
Someone who is
specifically seeking work during school holidays
Flexibility to work across various holiday periods (half terms, Easter, summer, Christmas, etc.)
Experience working with children in sports, activity clubs, coaching, or school settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence in leading groups of children with energy and enthusiasm
Organised, adaptable, and able to use initiative
A passion for sport, physical activity, and creating memorable experiences for children
