Overview

Responsibilities

Operate a van to transport goods safely and efficiently to various locations. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards. Maintain warehouse Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, customers, and management regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Assist in loading and unloading goods at the warehouse or delivery sites, ensuring proper handling of items. Collaborate with team members to optimise delivery routes and improve overall warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
