The Role




DAS is looking for a driven and highly experienced

Talent Acquisition Specialist

to join our growing business at an exciting time. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively sourcing candidates for a wide range of technical positions within our management consultancy. You will do so using a variety of creative techniques, both online and through more traditional methods. In addition, you will support the wider talent team with several exciting projects, including the progression of our graduate and apprenticeship programmes.


As

Talent Acquisition Specialist

at DAS Ltd, you will:


Work collaboratively with hiring managers to gain an in-depth understanding of their recruitment requirements Write and post creative job adverts that attract the highest calibre talent Source candidates through various channels, with a strong focus on proactively approaching and engaging with passive candidates (headhunting) Conduct in-depth telephone interviews with candidates to assess their suitability for a role Ensure a best-in-class experience for all candidates who engage with DAS Ltd, including ensuring they receive prompt application and interview feedback Keep on top of industry-specific recruitment trends and identify effective and up to date methods to attract talent Supporting ongoing project activity, and the delivery of recruitment administration tasks
The successful

Talent Acquisition Specialist

must have extensive experience of talent acquisition for specialist, hard-to-fill, or niche positions. You must also have a strong background working in an in-house recruitment role or externally within the defence sector.


In addition, you will have:


A thorough understanding of full-cycle recruitment Experience recruiting in some of our core capability areas, e.g. Project Management, Project Controls, Systems Thinking, OR, Data Science, Business Change. Experience in recruiting within critical infrastructure domains: defence, energy/nuclear, water utilities, transport, central government etc. Excellent communication and people skills A personable and approachable demeanour Experience developing Boolean and keyword searches A self-motivated approach to work Effective time management skills and the ability to adapt to when priorities change The ability to build strong working relationships with the business and with candidates

38,000 - 45,000 depending on experience This role is a hybrid working position. Successful candidates must be able to travel to our offices in Basingstoke or Bristol on a regular basis. Travel to other offices may also be required.
